摘要: Past research has generally associated organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) with positive individual and outcomes, paying little attention to its possible costs for individuals. Drawing from the conservation of resource theory (COR), purpose this paper is address gap by developing an integrative framework that simultaneously investigates potential benefits OCB In addition, also down-streaming effects on workplace well-being (job satisfaction affective commitment) favorably via psychological unfavorably role overload.,A sample 566 employees working in private sector banks India was collected using multi-stage random sampling approach. Structural equation modeling (SEM) used test hypothesized relationships. Parallel mediation regression analysis ascertaining specific indirect two parallel mediators.,Results indicate OCBs targeted toward co-workers (OCBI), organization (OCBO) customers (OCBC) were positively well-being. Simultaneously, OCBO found be higher overload. Further, overload mediated effect various dimensions employees’ well-being.,The study contributes existing literature investigating both beneficial detrimental into one theoretical framework.
