摘要: The use of renewable energy can be enhanced by utilising groundwater reservoirs for heating and cooling purposes. urbanisation effect on the peak capacity in a cold region was investigated. Groundwater temperatures were measured potentials calculated from three partly urbanised aquifers situated between latitudes 60° 25′N 59′N Finland. average temperature below zone seasonal fluctuations 3–4 °C higher city centres than rural areas. study demonstrated that due to warmer groundwater, approximately 50–60 % more power could utilized populated areas compared with In contrast, 40–50 less utilised. Urbanisation significantly increases possibility local heat within wider naturally groundwater. Despite warming urban areas, still remains attractive as source energy. More research is needed order determine long-term i.e. design power, regions.
