摘要: The contractile protein actin was recently localized to the distal portion of connecting cilium in frog photoreceptors (Chaitin et al J Cell Biol 99:239-247, 1984). This is site where ciliary plasma membrane evaginates form new outer segment disks (Steinberg Comp Neurol 190: 501-518, 1980). In present study, aldehyde fixed mammalian retinas were embedded Lowicryl K4M, and thin tissue sections reacted with antiactin antibodies using indirect immunoferritin labeling. Utilizing this technique, has been rat, cow, monkey, human photoreceptors. These results provide additional evidence that an mediated mechanism may regulate disk morphogenesis vertebrate As previously noted retina, also labeled bundle filaments within photoreceptor calycal processes, label extended into inner segment, subjacent membrane. Within however, striated rootlet unlabeled.
