摘要: Using OECD input output matrices consistently, we offer a tentative solution to the mystery of missing trade. First, confirm usual rejection factor price equalization and identical technologies. Second, develop new technique compute content trade when countries' technologies are different. Measuring conventionally, find putative paucity in these data. When is measured correctly, theory predicts direction volume more accurately. Thus measuring according country origin may vindicate Heckscher-Ohlin-Vanek paradigm.
