摘要: Caulobacter crescentus is a model organism for the study of asymmetric division and cell type differentiation, as its cycle generates pair daughter cells that differ from one another in their morphology behavior. One these (called stalked) develops structure allows it to attach solid surfaces only capable dividing, while other swarmer) flagellum move liquid media divides after differentiating into stalked type.
