摘要: Raman spectroscopy was used to study the melting of nitrogen from 290 900 K at pressures 2.3 18 GPa. This work, which extends by a factor 9 over previously published results made possible new developments in high‐temperature diamond‐anvil cells. The β/δ phase boundary also determined, and β–δ–fluid triple point found be 578±10 9.9±0.5 frequencies vibron fluid N2 ν2 δ‐N2 were have same pressure dependence independent temperature good approximation. A temperature‐independent scale, useful least is approximated P/GPa=0.4242 ν/cm−1 −987.8, where ν frequency either or fluid‐N2.
