摘要: Aims/hypothesis Vascular adhesion protein-1 (VAP-1), which is identical to semicarbazide-sensitive amine oxidase (SSAO), a dual-function membrane protein with properties and activity. A soluble form of VAP-1 found in serum, where concentrations are enhanced diabetes obesity. In vitro, enhances lymphocyte endothelial cells, thus possibly participating the capacity that implicated cardiovascular complications associated or both, tissue origin VAP-1/SSAO unknown. We examined whether adipose tissue, has abundant expression VAP-1/SSAO, source VAP-1.
