摘要: A novel polymeric manganese(IV) complex, [Mn(L)(HL)(N3)] n ·nCH3OH, has been synthesized from the Schiff base 2-ethoxy-6-[(2-hydroxyethylimino)methyl]phenol (H2L) with manganese chloride and sodium azide in methanol. The complex was characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectrum, single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Mn atom is coordinated two phenolic oxygen, imino nitrogen, one hydroxyl oxygen atoms ligands, azido N atom, giving an octahedral coordination.
