摘要: A new polymeric compound, [Mn(N3)2(1)2]n (2) where 1=N(phenyl)isonicotinamide (NPI), has been synthesized and characterized by X‐ray crystallography low‐temperature magnetic study. Compound 2 consists of a one‐dimensional chain octahedral Mn(II) bridged azide anions in end‐to‐end fashion. In this the ions are linked 4 bridging ligands monodentate 1. Variable temperature susceptibility measurements range 300–4 K reveal existence weak antiferromagnetic interactions (J=−14.6 cm−1).
