摘要: The ultrastructure of the nucleus infundibularis dorsalis (NID) toad Xenopus laevis is described. paired and located in caudal hypothalamus, dorso-laterally end paraventricular organ (PVO), bordering dorsal wall recessus mamillaris. Two cell types can be identified. They are both bipolar contain dense-core vesicles. Their apical processes protrude into lumen mamillaris, therefore they considered liquor-contacting neurons. Because Falck-positivity these cells (Terlou Ploemacher, 1973) it assumed that densecore vesicles monoamines. Both probably sensory cells, although possibility their being secretory active as well, cannot excluded.
