摘要: It is generally accepted that in Amphibia the activity of adenohypophysis regulated by neurosecretory centres hypothalamus (Jorgensen, 1968). Evidence this also accounts for pars intermedia was obtained Kastin and Ross(1965). They observed lesions Rana pipienscaused a darkening skin depletion intermediate lobe. Likewise, caudal were seen to result temporaria(Goos Peute, unpublished results). These data indicate main hypothalamic factor regulating has an inhibitory effect thus correctly named “melanotrope inhibiting factor” (MIF).
