摘要: It was earlier established that one of the primary morphopathological consequences experimental traumatic brain injury is a dramatic reduction in distances between neurofilaments (cytoskeletal compaction) inside number axon segments appear to be randomly distributed among normal axons an otherwise undamaged parenchymal environment. The present results demonstrate cytoskeletal compaction instantly induces argyrophilia, thereby rendering possible selective visualisation affected for light microscopy through use special silver staining method. On combination this method with electron microscopy, it revealed completed much shorter times and extends longer than previously assumed.
