摘要: In this chapter two types of infrasound propagation modes or paths through the atmosphere are introduced and their interaction with is discussed. A method presented for an inversion process to obtain atmospheric properties from infrasonic signals. Two most important wave propagation, stratospheric region returns (S signals) thermospheric (T signals), discussed contrasted. The emphasis on signals chemical, high explosive (HE) explosions nuclear past tests earthquakes. role winds in controlling S relative independence T explained. An empirical prediction wind effects, normalization those signal amplitudes presented. Three methods amplitude observations parameterization.
