摘要: This paper presents a new method which has been developed for predicting the shear strength of column in reinforced concrete beam-column joint. The authors' mathematical model is only summarised here, because it described elsewhere. Like most models, assumes that force resisted by an inclined compression field or strut concrete. proposed here extended to apply joints, with without links. A description given 12 tests model, have conducted authors; allowance also made results 41 two other series. In tests, columns all had 300mm x section, and beams were 250mm wide 500mm deep. specimen seemed fail within joint, whenever theoretical flexural beam was not attained. Charts display comparisons between experimental loads at failure strengths specimens, assuming joint details be adequate. statistical analyses three series show predicts joints more reliably than BS 8110 EC2 standards.
