摘要: Abstract The paper presents key parameters to determine the shear strength of exterior beam–column joints without transverse reinforcement in joint region (referred as unreinforced joints). A large experimental data set these is collected from published literature based on consistent criteria for selection. parametric study database indicates that mainly influenced by two parameters: (1) aspect ratio which defined beam column cross-section heights and (2) index dependent longitudinal tension its strength. effect investigated using proposed equations are verified comparison with database. Using parameters, an empirical model this validated accurate predictions test specimens can be adopted assess seismic performance non-ductile reinforced concrete buildings deficient details region.
