摘要: This paper presents the performance of a full-scale reinforced concrete corner beam column-slab specimen that was severely damaged under bidirectional quasi-static loading. The then rehabilitated and retested. built using pre-1970s construction practices including use low-strength materials (3000 psi [21 MPa], Grade 40 reinforcing bars) deficiencies in reinforcement detailing. rehabilitation process consisted of: (1) epoxy injection, (2) addition bar within clear cover column at inside corner, (3) external application multilayer composite system made unidirectional carbon-epoxy layers placed different orientations. carbon fiber-reinforced polymeric heat-cured temperature 80°±10°C (176°±18°F) for 6 hours. evaluated both before after based on progression damage hysteretic behavior changes strength, stiffness, energy dissipation characteristics. results indicated even joint can be effectively CFRP to achieve ductile failure mechanism. upgraded withstand story drift ratios up 3.7% applied simultaneously directions.
