摘要: Abstract This paper discusses the failure mechanism of elevated concrete tanks with shaft and frame staging (supporting system) along seismic behavior these construction types. In order to modify current code-based design methodology, computer models have been established determine response modification factors, R , tanks. The computational subjected an ensemble earthquake ground motions. effects multi-component earthquakes, fluid–structure interaction P – Δ on inelastic studied by conducting linear nonlinear history analyses. According results analyses observed during past factors for evaluated regarding seismicity site. Moreover, shortcomings associated simplified analysis procedure addressed a more rational modeling has suggested especially systems enhance distribution ductility demand.
