摘要: The influence of nutrient intake on body composition in growing low birthweight infants is essential knowledge order to optimize nutritional management for the support growth and development. Until recently, indirect methods measuring were inappropriate; but latest generation whole densitometers, dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) may be a useful tool this age group. application DXA quantitative assessment fat, lean bone mass should provide measures with precision accuracy while being safe noninvasive use small children.
