摘要: Total body bone mineral (TBBM) was measured in vivo using dual-photon absorptiometry (DPA) 10 subjects. The total calcium (TBCa) the same subjects neutron activation analysis. correlation between two methods very high (r>0.99) and standard error of estimate low. TBCa relative to TBBM about 39%. noninvasive provided nearly identical indications skeletal mass, but radiation exposure with DPA 500 5000 times smaller (0.6 mrem vs 300 3000 mrem). radius shaft content highly correlated (0.97) (0.98) could be used latter variables errors (1 SEE) 9% 6%, respectively.
