This book is another attempt to present pulmonary physiology general practitioners, internists, pediatricians, surgeons and others clinical practice, a language they speak understand. It somewhat more lengthy than the by Dr. B. H. Bass. Any new should be judged at least part uniqueness of its presentation information which it supplies. not unique way material presented nor any presented. The main reason for being written was concepts physicians clear, simple, understandable fashion. From scientific standpoint, I find completely accurate. There are no serious errors. As that tends simplify complex subject, much important has been omitted. word "maximal breathing capacity" does appear index, although there reasonably adequate description maximal capacity under chapter entitled, "Abnormalities Ventilation."
