摘要: Abstract Blood beta-hydroxybutyrate and plasma free fatty acids, glucose, insulin, growth hormone responses were measured following oral 1-alanine in doses of 0.5 or 0.1 g/kg. In normal untreated adult diabetic subjects decreased 59%–84% (high dose) 34%–47% (low dose). This reduction occurred two phases, the first corresponding to a rise insulin low second fall acids (with high dose only). long-term insulin-treated diabetics made ketotic by withdrawal phase was still clearly demonstrable, suggesting that alanine is capable inhibiting ketosis some extrainsulin mechanism. these subjects, produced as fell. Plasma glucose remained stable diabetics, but rose significantly insulin-dependent diabetics. Alanine also delayed release starting at 90 min normals appeared correlate with likely due preceding acids.
