摘要: Objective This article presents a longitudinal analysis of the links between sexual assault victimization, depression, and self-esteem by examining their cross-lagged paths among both men women. Method Male female college students (N = 2,425) in Germany participated study that comprised 3 data waves first, second, third year university, separated 12-month intervals. Sexual victimization was assessed at Time 1 (T1) since age 14 2 (T2) (T3) for last 12 months. Depression were measured each wave. Results Random-intercept panel analyses, controlling individual differences depression self-esteem, showed T1 predicted lower T2, T2 T3. In addition, significant found from to indirectly linked T3 via T2. Both The did not differ significantly Conclusion shown be risk factor as general mental health indicator lowered specific outcome domain sexuality.
