摘要: Although tumours of epithelial origin account for the overwhelming majority ovarian malignancies, ovary can also give rise to a variety non-epithelial tumours. Non-epithelial malignancies present unique clinical challenges, both diagnostic and therapeutic, owing significant differences in their presentation, behaviour, response treatment prognosis comparison with those malignancies. Broadly these include two large groups germ cell sex cord-stromal Minor categories such as miscellaneous mesenchymal haematolymphoid produce challenges. Recent developments criteria advances immunohistochemical well molecular studies are helpful making an accurate diagnosis optimal patient management.
