摘要: The present study investigated fracture and various mechanical properties of polyoxymethylene (POM) hybrids in tension flexure. examined consisted short glass fibers (GF) spherical beads (GB). Comparisons are made between experimentally observed values predictions based on the rule-of-hybrid mixtures for hybrid strength, modulus, impact toughness, strain energy release rates. Results indicated that tensile strength. flexural toughness POM/GB/GF composites can be estimated from following P H - POM/GF χ + POM/GB where measured composites, ratio (by volume) bead fiber, respectively. In view this, none aforementioned show any signs a effect. Flexural strengths, rate all showed existence negative effect deviation rule-of-mixtures behavior was observed. latter closer to estimation inverse rule-of mixtures.
