摘要: The theoretical stress-strain behaviour of a three component hybrid composite consisting brittle fibre and “matrix” composed binder less is described, the conditions required for synergistic strengthening fibres are compared limiting assumptions frictional elastic bond. theory tested using dispersed type I carbon-glass-epoxy it shown that increases in effective strength around 100% can be obtained. Finally, economic structural advantages place conventional carbon same modulus discussed.
