摘要: Equilibrating mixtures of allylic azide-containing alcohols or 2-tolylsulfonylacetic esters undergo Johnson-Claisen Ireland-Claisen rearrangement reactions to give unsaturated γ-azidoesters and -acids, respectively. Decarboxylation the acids under basic conditions gives azidosulfones, with moderate high diastereoselectivity.
