摘要: Stress-wave propagation in solids can be controlled through imposing a gradual change of anisotropy the material elasticity tensor. In this study, transversely isotropic is incorporated with smoothly varying axis anisotropy. It shown that if initially coincides stress-wave vector, then energy plane waves would closely follow gradually changing direction. A fiber-reinforced composite used to induce required anisotropy, and experimentally demonstrate management desired trajectory. The has mass-density considered homogeneous at scale wavelengths, even though microscopically it highly heterogeneous.
