摘要: 1 A sensitive method of assaying oxytocin using the superfused mouse mammary gland is described. The shown to be reliable, accurate and precise. Assays are performed automatically preparation stable for at least 18 hours. 2 The relatively insensitive bradykinin, histamine, 5-hydroxytryptamine, angiotensin, prostaglandin F2α, adrenaline noradrenaline. contractions produced by acetylcholine can abolished atropine without sensitivity being affected. 3 Vasopressin has a variable activity on preparation; its potency as high one-fifth that oxytocin. 4 It concluded this compares favourably with other published methods.
