摘要: The development and evaluation of a radioimmunoassay for oxytocin is described. High titre antisera were raised to coupled thyroglobulin tested specificity with number analogues fragments. Two showing high used assay plasma directly without extraction. maximum sensitivity was 0.5pg per tube the intra- inter-assay co-efficients variation 7.1 11.6% respectively. Cross-reactivity studies indicate that directed chiefly side-chain. could be purified by affinity chromatography using this tripeptide agarose beads but did not improve their avidity or specificity. successfully body fluids tissue extracts, although human late-pregnancy added assay. Direct estimate clearance infused into conscious dogs, good agreement found when same samples also bioassayed. efficiently neutralise biological activity in vivo vitro.
