摘要: Accurately predicting noise propagation in gene networks is crucial for understanding signal fidelity natural and designing noise-tolerant circuits. To quantify how propagates through networks, we measured expression correlations between genes single cells. We found that a was determined by its intrinsic fluctuations, transmitted from upstream genes, global affecting all genes. A model developed explains the complex behavior exhibited reveals dominant sources. The successfully predicts as network systematically perturbed. This approach provides step toward manipulating more networks.
