摘要: Pigeons were trained on an operant procedure to discriminate between morning and afternoon when location did not vary (Experiment 1). The pigeons placed a fixed interval (FI) schedule in the different FI afternoon. Probe trials that occurred at beginning of training sessions examined. responded differently, depending time day, reflecting learning stable 24-h memory representation association schedules day. from Experiment 1 then clock shifted tested twice, determine whether they relying endogenous circadian oscillator, hourglass mechanism influenced by photoperiod, or environmental noise make time-of-day discrimination 2). results second experiment indicated was most important for observed learning.
