摘要: Abstract The formation of ether derivatives for the gas chromatographic determination phenols and phenol-generating pesticides provides a simple sensitive analytical method. properties series 2,6-dinitro-4-trifluoromethylphenyl ethers were compared with those previously reported pentafluorobenzyl 2,4-dinitrophenyl phenols; three types found to be similar in their ease preparation, stability, electron capture response, formed complimentary trace analysis identification. Micro-derivatization may applied phenols, which generate on hydrolysis, or both; illustration, recovery p.p.b. * levels carbaryl insecticide corresponding 1-naphthol from water via DNT derivative exceeded eighty percent.
