摘要: With the increasing concern over effect of persistent organochlorine insecticides on living environment, alternative pesticides have been increasingly used, notably organophosphates and carbamates. There are two main groups insecticidal carbamates, N-methyl- N,N-dimethylcarbamates. The latter used only to a limited extent, especially in United States, because greater spectrum potency exhibited by N-methylcarbamates (O’Brien 1967). can be further subdivided, according nature functional group attached carbamyl moiety, into aryl oxime N-methylcarbamates; N-methylearbamates most important from standpoint number tonnage pest-control work.
