Isolated central nervous system aspergillosis in the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome.

摘要: Aspergillus infection involving the central nervous system are unusual, but should be included in differential diagnosis patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome and neurologic signs symptoms. Of few reported AIDS cases aspergillosis, majority have had focal brain abscesses. We report an atypical case that presented as a basal meningitis pontine infarction secondary to invasive sinusitis.
