摘要: Abstract A high resolution model of the upper Bay Fundy was developed to simulate tides and sea level. The includes wetting drying (inundation) extensive tidal flats in Minas Basin. reproduces dominant M2 harmonic with an error on order 0.30 m, total water level Basin r.m.s. 0.30–0.50 m. Overall system is capable a simulation relative ∼10%. motivation for development land/water interface (instantaneous coastline) aid validation coastline retrieval algorithms from remotely sensed observations.
