摘要: This paper looks at the UK's privatisation experiment, which began from late 1970s. It considers background to privatisations, industries were privatised and how, summarises results of studies performance changes in companies UK. relative roles competition, regulation ownership determining improvement. concludes by looking wider lessons that might be learned including importance developing competitive markets and, their absence, effective regulations.
