摘要: Introduction: Inter-individual differences in gut microflora composition may affect drug metabolism and overall therapeutic response. Gliclazide is a characterized by large inter-individual response; however, the causes of these are not fully explained be outcome microbial biotransformation. Recently, great attention has been paid to studies on bile acid (BA) interactions with role BAs modification transport through biological membranes. The aim: Considering assumption gliclazide-probiotic-BAs interactions, aim study was investigate biotransformation gliclazide probiotic bacteria, as well effects deoxycholic (DCA) into bacterial cells. Materials methods: Probiotics were incubated or without DCA for 24 hours at 37°C. intracellular extracellular concentrations determined seven time points high-performance liquid chromatography. enzymatic activity bacteria examined using appropriate software packages. Results: During hour incubation significantly lower observed all compared controls, while group DCA, decrease concentration noticed only hours. total throughout whole period control. Proposed pathways involve reactions hydrolysis hydroxylation. Conclusion: Based results obtained, it can concluded that there gliclazide-probiotics-DCA, both level active passive cells, bacteria. effect final response should further studied confirmed vivo conditions.
