摘要: The ability of rat dams to cope with food restriction as well a concurrent lactation and pregnancy was examined by varying the duration, time onset severity schedule. Groups females impregnated in postpartum estrus nursing 8 pups were either allowed feed ad lib, given 60% an lib ration from days 1-7, 1-14, 8-14 or 15-21 40% 1-7. Food regimens that extended through estimated implantation for (days 1-14 8-14) resulted prolongation pregnancy. first week did not result affect number carrying term. Dams restricted third had pregnancies same length but smaller proportion this group gave birth second litter.
