摘要: Aging is associated with an increase in fat mass which increases the risk for disease, morbidity and premature mortality. Creatine supplementation combination resistance training has been shown to lean tissue adults ≥50 years of age; however, synergetic effects creatine on this population are unclear. metabolism plays important role adipose bioenergetics energy expenditure. Thus, may decrease more than alone. The purpose review two-fold: (1) perform meta-analyses studies involving during age, (2) discuss possible mechanistic actions reducing mass. Nineteen were included our meta-analysis 609 participants. Results from showed that age who supplemented experienced a greater reduction body percentage (0.55%, p = 0.04) compared those placebo training. Despite no statistical difference (p 0.13), supplementing lost ~0.5 kg placebo. Interestingly, there have linked mechanism(s) explaining how influence mass, these data also discussed.
