摘要: Abstract The thermoluminescence (TL) and fluorescence spectra of magnesium aluminium oxynitride “MgAlON” aluminate MgAl 2 O 4 spinel powders have been analysed. Two broad peaks at about 100 300 °C appear in the TL seem to be related electron hole release from [Al Mg ] [Mg Al ′] traps, respectively. intensity each peak strongly depends on nature annealing atmosphere (neutral, oxidizing or reducing). spectral analyses shown presence two intense emissions 520 690 nm attributed Mn 2+ Cr 3+ emitting centers, A study is used as a reference for MgAlON powders, which can considered solid solution derived aluminate. Disturbance emission spectrum clearly observed with nitrogen/oxygen substitution.
