摘要: Because of its attractiveness, the traffic on inland waterways is expected to increase in a near future and it fear that number collisions lock gates will follow same trend. For this reason, becomes more important improve crashworthiness such structures. In paper, we present simplified procedure provides quickly approximate resistance ship impacts. As first step, briefly describe analytical leading evaluation resistance. Then, second part confront our results those obtained through finite elements simulations.
