摘要: Carcinogen-DNA and carcinogen-protein adducts provide an integrated measure of carcinogen exposure, uptake absorption, metabolism, DNA repair cell turnover. As such they promise to a more objective relevant exposure than that which can be derived from questionnaires measures ambient levels carcinogen. Nevertheless, the interpretation adduct measurements made in human tissues body fluids requires understanding number factors. These include sensitivity specificity measurement, temporal relationship between level mechanistic role process carcinogenesis. The application biomarkers epidemiological studies therefore necessitates careful consideration optimal study design. above issues are illustrated this chapter with examples both animal models populations.
