摘要: The relationship between handedness and language was examined among 238 mentally retarded subjects representing the four DSM III classification ranges of mental retardation. Language ability found to be significantly related handedness, with an increased prevalence left-handedness those individuals deficits. In addition, both expressive receptive interacted gender, main effects each variable being stronger for females than males. Although no were severity retardation, a significant interaction gender. Results support model pathological are discussed within context this theory, as well regard gender differences in cerebral lateralization cognitive functioning.
