摘要: Bangladesh is very vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, and adaptation emerging as a key policy response. Place based programs that build adaptive capacity are needed. This paper explores effectiveness formal institutions in change for agriculture from perspectives farmers institutional communities practice within two drought-prone areas Bangladesh. Our findings show via their play an important role building place mitigation strategies agriculture. Over-emphasis on technology, lack acknowledgement cultural factors failure mediate create linkages with informal remain barriers. We argue order ongoing crucial Bangladesh, they must incorporate mechanisms partnerships more community institutions.
