摘要: Oral-intragastric inoculation of infant CFW mice with Candida albicans, leading either to lethality or persistent infection long duration, provides a useful model for study the host-pathogen interrelationships in candidosis. Mice were most susceptible lethal effects challenge when 4 6 days age, increasingly resistant up 10 11 days, and then doses C. albicans younger animals. Older harboring infections gastrointestinal tract, originally initiated animals old, used agents which commonly are administered cancer patients known predispose The broad-spectrum antibiotic chloramphenicol, cortisone acetate, X-irradiation, single high cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan) resulted markedly enhanced levels tract without systemic spread. Repeated smaller Cytoxan, treatment methotrexate combination acetate produced candidosis associated invasion data indicate that persistently infected provide realistic studying treatments precipitate humans.
