摘要: Epigenetic processes play a central role in regulating the tissue-specific expression of genes. Alterations these can lead to profound changes phenotype and have been implicated pathogenesis many human diseases including cancer. There is growing evidence that environment, particularly variations diet, during specific developmental periods induce epigenome, which are then stably maintained throughout life influencing susceptibility cancer later life. This chapter will review alterations early nutritional exposure affect breast risk through altered epigenetic regulation genes discuss how detection such marks may provide biomarkers detect individuals at increased disease.
