摘要: Ground litter samples were collected and analyzed for radioiodine (129I) content from distances of 1.4–128 km away the Savannah River Site nuclear fuel reprocessing facility. Analysis methods consisted thermo-chromatographic separation iodine sample matrix followed by isotope dilution thermal ionization mass spectrometry (ID-TIMS). The results indicate that measurable quantities are released accumulation decreases as a function distance source in agreement with simple approximation described United Nations Scientific Committee on Effects Atomic Radiation (UNSCEAR) report.
