Clinico-pathologic studies on post-operative maxillary cysts

摘要: Abstract Microscopic and clinical observations on 70 post-operative maxillary cysts were performed. Cysts of 47 cases lined with the ciliatal epithelium, 12 composed both squamous ciliated cells. Squamous only cuboidal lining found in 9 2 cases, respectively. Duration after antrum operation non-vital tooth related to cyst did not affect epithelial type, though many epithelium possessed infectious histories. From results, change seemed be acceralated by inflammatory irritations, mucous cells depleted as a part metaplastic sequence.
