摘要: Modeling clays have been used in several ecological experiments and proved to be an important tool variables control. The objective of our study was determine if fruit color isolated grouped displays influences the selection by birds field using artificial fruits. Data were collected six plots distributed homogeneously 3 km long trails with a minimum distance 0.5 km. We paired experimental design establish experiments, so that all treatments available local bird community each plot. Overall, red more pecked than brown white. Isolated significantly others display. Even though conducted small spatial scales, fruits appeared efficient register consumption attempts bird. Although inconclusive about selective forces sharp dynamics polymorphisms choice frugivorous birds, findings corroborate recent studies wherein showed preferences high- over low-contrast signals.
