摘要: Over recent years the concept of ‘knowledge’ in singular has been increasingly challenged by ideas differentiated, contextualized ‘knowledges’. In this paper we propose ‘knowledge-cultures’ as a way exploring fluidity diverse forms knowledge and rules, norms, values that enable or constrain their production. Elaborating on Shotter's idea knowledge-from-within, argue knowledge-cultures are social achievements equip those who embody them with relational–responsive kind understanding events surroundings built multiple knowledge-forms. To explore contextual nature knowledge-culture construction illustrate our arguments, draw detailed empirical research farmers' experiences precision-farming technique yield mapping English counties Lincolnshire Suffolk.
